How often should I do it?

The more the better. In our experience, we have noticed the best results with daily use for the first couple of weeks. But at the very minimum, watching hundreds of people use the therapy, we’ve also seen great results when people do 3 times a week for the first month. Of course it’s entirely up to you but we do recommend the above as we really see people getting the best results following the above.

Who should not do Cryotherapy?

The following conditions are contraindications to whole body cryotherapy: Pregnancy, severe Hypertension (BP> 160/100), acute or recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, cardiac pacemaker, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, venous thrombosis, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, uncontrolled seizures, Raynaud’s Syndrome, fever, tumor disease, symptomatic lung disorders, bleeding disorders, severe anemia, severe infection, allergy to cold, acute kidney, and urinary tract diseases.

I have implants (metal, silicon, etc), can I still use it?


Is it safe?

Very safe! Nitrogen is a non-toxic gas. In fact, the air that we breathe is made up of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other gases (including carbon dioxide). Also, your head is not enclosed in the chamber to prevent breathing in too much of the nitrogen.

How often should I do it?

Every person is different. For the average person, we recommend starting with multiple sessions a week over a time span of several months to get the best results.

What do I wear?

Before entering the Cryosuana, clients are required to wear protective clothes that we provide. The clothing includes thermal socks, cryotherapy shoes, and gloves that are all used to protect your extremities during the treatment. While in the Cryosuana, no clothing is necessary for women. Men must keep on boxers or underwear. Before entering, all jewelry, metal, and body piercings must be removed. Additionally, it is recommended that you pat yourself dry with a towel and do not apply oils, lotions, or cologne immediately prior to the treatment.

How cold is Cryotherapy?

-90 to -120 °C (-130 to -184 °F)


How often should I do it?

As often as possible. Like any therapy the body first has to recognize it and then begin to use it and incorporate it. Therefore the best way to use this therapy would be every day for the first week and then several times per week (2 to 3) after that for the next few weeks. We’ve noticed at this point oxygen saturation is at it’s highest and going forward can be based on need and disease process and goals and our staff can help you determine this.

What are the possible side effects?

The most common side effect is minor ear pain during the compression phase. The condition of oxygen toxicity and fire is a concern with hyperbaric medicine using 100% oxygen. This is not a concern for us, because we do not use 100% oxygen. With our hyperbaric oxygen therapy we use ambient air and an oxygen concentrator, therefore, there is no chance of toxicity or fire.

Is it safe?

Yes, hyperbaric is very safe. Hyperbaric chambers are designed for comfort and safety. We offer a comfortable way to either sit or rest during the treatment with the choice of an anti-gravity chair or bean bags. Communication between the patient and anyone outside the chamber is as easy as speaking in front of each other. The built in windows also allow the patient to see out of the chamber and communicate with the employee running their session. As a safety measure, the chamber can be depressurized and opened from the inside. The patient always has total control. As well as having control from inside the chamber, a staff member is always just few feet away, continually monitoring the chamber pressure, oxygen flow, and, most importantly, your comfort.

What is the pressure?

The pressure on all mild hyperbaric chambers is 1.3 ATA / 4.4 PSI, or the equivalent of being 10 feet underwater.

How often should I do it?

Every person is different. For the average person, we recommend starting with multiple sessions a week over a time span of several months to get the best results.

I am claustrophobic. What should I do?

Claustrophobia is not simply just about being in confined spaces, it is about being in control while in a confined space. With our chambers, you are in complete control of everything from the time you get in. You control the valves, zippers, communication, and pumps. Also, our chambers are made of light material causing an illumination within the chamber bringing a lighter, larger, and brighter feel to the chamber.

Can I use electronics during my hyperbaric session?

Yes! Use of cell phones, tablets, and laptops are 100% okay to use while in the chamber. We also have free WiFi you can connect to before or during your session, as well as a portable charger available to bring in the chamber.

What do I wear?

There is no special dress requirement for hyperbaric treatment, but we recommend dressing comfortably. Also, no shoes are allowed in the chamber, so many like to wear socks while in the chamber.

How long is a session?

A typical session is one hour. While a single session is scheduled for an hour, we have several patients that use the therapy anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on what their personal need is.


How often should I do it?

The more the better. Using the sauna 2 to 3 times per week at a minimum all the way to using it daily allows for the best results. Again, toxins need to be removed daily as well as inflammatory processes can be regulated better with more frequent use. A majority of our clients use it daily and even purchase their own for their home.

Is there a place to shower after my session?

Yes! There is a private shower room attached to the sauna room for you to use after your session.

How should I prepare for my session?

To prepare for an Infrared session, be sure to come prepared with 2 towels and also be sure to drink water before, during, and after your session.

What is far infrared heat?

Far infrared heat is a dry heat generated using light waves.

How hot does it get?

Up to 150°F

Can I bring my electronics in the sauna?

Yes! We have free WiFi available, and you can use your cell phone, tablet or laptop during your sessions.

What should I wear in the sauna? Can I go nude?

We advise our clients to wear as little as possible, so going nude is totally fine! If you decide to wear clothing, it must be cotton for the infrared rays to work to the fullest potential. We also require you to bring 2 towels to lie on and to absorb your sweat.

How long is a typical session? How often can I use the sauna?

A typical session is 40 minutes long. It is completely safe to use every day at whatever heat suits you best.
